OCTOBER 2024
After a period of deep reflection, and renewal, we are excited to welcome you back to NBO Film Festival to experience urgently needed storytelling that speaks to our deepest emotions, connects us to our shared humanity, and reveals essential truths. In a time where spaces that art, creativity, and critical inquiry can thrive are increasingly under threat, it is more important than ever to protect and celebrate the power of film to question, challenge, and inspire.
The 2024 edition of NBO proudly celebrates internationally acclaimed, thought-provoking documentarians that push the boundaries of storytelling through a uniquely Kenyan perspective. Their stories share a Kenya that audiences around the world have never before seen, and are now clamouring to see more of. The Festival serves as a platform to honour the growing achievements and influence of these voices in shaping the global narrative.
